Hutchinson has called Cherry Hill, NJ its home since 1988. We have been successfully providing unmatched heating and cooling services to you, our neighbors, for many years. When you need a plumber fast, we will be there. You aren’t just the residents of Cherry Hill, you are our family, our community, and we value the support you’ve given to our business over the many years that our contractors have called this town our home.

Cherry Hill was first home to the Lenni-Lenape people, then settled by Quakers from England in the 1600’s. The area evolved through the 1700’s where Isaac Ellis started the first tavern, stagecoach stop, school house, Inn, general store and more. Ellisburg became the center of town elections, and a nickname to the area around Route 70.

Eventually some of the original Ellis buildings were torn down to create the Ellisburg circle. Our Hutchinson contractor’s vans frequented around that circle to serve residents and businesses here. We are now often found on Kaighns Avenue, and on the highways that intersect this large town, providing superior HVAC service.

Cherry Hill was long called Delaware township, from 1844 to 1961. During this time the farms here produced so much food that they started calling New Jersey “The Garden State”. Much of that food surplus went to Cambell’s soup. In those days the area here included more land, much of North Camden, Pennsauken and Merchantville, extending into the Delaware river. We still provide HVAC contractors to the entire area.

The thriving farms of Delaware township soon turned into beautiful planned communities, and the population quadrupled along with the rise of the suburban American dream, for which Delaware township was a beacon. The influx of people brought excitement. The famous Garden State Park Racetrack on Route 70 brought luxury hotels, nightclubs and restaurants. Names like Sinatra, The Temptations, and Liberace frequented the Latin Casino nearby.

The population kept growing. Soon the East Coast’s first indoor mall was built, the Cherry Hill shopping center, with the Cherry Hill Inn across the street. That name stuck. They voted to change the name of the town to Cherry Hill in 1961.
