Willingboro, NJ, was founded by Thomas Ollive and was originally formed as the “Constabulary of Wellingborrow” in 1688. Named after an English community, it was formally incorporated in 1798, making it one of the oldest towns in the state of NJ. A meeting was held in 1959 to change the name to “Levittown Township” after an extensive residential development by Levitt & Sons.
William Levitt purchased a majority of the land in Willingboro, and surrounding areas to create a single municipality. This was to be Levitt and Sons’ third largest development after Pennsylvania and New York. However, confusion arose from the name change as it was located only twelve miles from Levittown, PA. A referendum in 1963 changed the name back to its original name of Willingboro.

We love it when the communities we serve care about the environment like we do. Hutchinson is among an elite group of contractors qualified and certified to participate in the Home Performance with ENERGY STAR (HPwES) program. The program is administered by the U.S. Department of Energy and the Building Performance Institute.
Many heating companies will simply address the age of your heating system. We do things differently and efficiently. We take a “whole home” approach and identify all of the contributors to poor performance. We are ‘expertly better’ at pinpointing the cause and create plan of action to get you running at peak performance. Through the HPwES program, Hutchinson can help homeowners understand how improvements throughout the home can achieve energy savings and comfort and how to prioritize investments.
We can let you know when insulation in ductwork might save you more than replacing a unit, or if a seal can increase performance and add year to your system. As a premiere HVAC contractor, we can also help you understand the difference between duct and ductless products and their installation. We’ll show you the latest in air conditioning technology.
We are familiar with the variety of companies that manufacture products today and are experienced enough to know which will have the most benefits for your particular structure. We offer special savings for plumbing, heating and air conditioning services, and ask about the special energy saving incentives for NJ residents.
