Background

Throughout its 30-year history, the Connecticut-based Edge Fitness Clubs has earned a reputation as a premium health club, designed to offer something for everyone at every fitness level. When the Edge Fitness Clubs made its debut into the Philadelphia market as part of its overall expansion, they turned to Hutchinson for their expert recommendations/designs for mechanical interior fit ups.

Challenge

As the Edge Fitness Clubs expanded into New Jersey, their various centers required installation of energy efficient HVAC units, as well as a temperature control system to ensure their guests are comfortable at each fitness facility.

Solution

Hutchinson managed the mechanical interior fit ups with “The Legacy Companies” for all of The Edge Fitness Clubs’ new locations.

Outfitted each fitness center with 14-16 high-efficiency HVAC units
Installation of a high-end Wi-Fi temperature control system for all locations
Design and installation of the duct systems, registers and new high-efficiency exterior rooftop units
Continued service and maintenance on all RTU’s for the next five years under a full (parts & labor) warranty program
